Intensive Hydro Serum contains maximum allowable amount of Kakadu Plum Extracts.
Kakadu Plum, also known as Gubinge, Billygoat Plum, Green Plum, Salty Plum, Murunga, or Mador, is native to Australia, the tree is found along the coast in the Kimberley region of Western Australia as far west as Broome extending east into the Northern Territory. The fruit is yellow-green, about 2cm long and 1cm in diameter, similar to the size of an olive or cherry with a short beak at the tip, and contain one large seed. It is typically harvested in early March through to June, depending on the monsoon season.
We wanted to find out how the actual plum fruit looks like, so we airfreighted the fresh Kakadu Plum all the way from Broome!
Kakadu Plum is famous for having the highest recorded level of Vitamin C of any fruit in the world, measuring up to 100 times the Vitamin C content found in an orange. Australian Aborigines considered Kakadu Plum as super food and used as traditional medicine and as bush tucker in their diet for thousands of years.
